BRYCE CANYON NATIONAL PARK
Happy Wednesday! I hope everyone is having a good week, especially if you only have a 4 day work week! Today I wanted to share a couple snaps from Bryce Canyon. My family only had time to make a short stop, but I’m so glad we were able to visit anyways. Bryce Canyon is one of the most unique landscapes I have ever seen! Instead of deep valleys like most canyons, Bryce is made up of red, orange, and white rock spires called hoodoos.
One thing we didn’t realize was that the park shuttles stop running earlier than the other parks we visited. We miscalculated the last shuttle of the day and after hiking a portion of the Rim Trail, we ended up a few miles from our car with no shuttle. Billy and I wound up walking most of the way back and then hitching a ride from two random French visitors the rest of the way back to pick up the car haha. Merci, friends!
I wish we’d had more time at Bryce. I would love to visit again to do some stargazing!
