APPLE CIDER SANGRIA:
If you recently went apple picking (like we did) and are short on time, this apple cider sangria is an easy way to enjoy the fruits of your labor. While traditional sangria is made with Spanish wine, I used a house red that I had on hand from a local winery which worked out great. I added ginger beer to give the sangria a little extra autumnal flavor. You can leave it out if you don’t want your sangria to be too sweet. Cheers!
- 1 bottle red wine
- 3 apples (I used honey crisps), chopped
- 2 cups apple cider
- 1/2 cup brandy
- 1 can ginger beer
- Combine all ingredients together and stir well.
- Refrigerate for at least an hour. Overnight would be best.
