WATKINS GLEN STATE PARK
Watkins Glen, NY
Watkins Glen State Park is one of my favorite places to go hiking. The park is located on the southern tip of Seneca Lake in the Finger Lakes Region of New York. There are 3 main trails that follow along the gorge and around the waterfalls. The hike is not particularly strenuous because the walkways are well maintained, but there are a lot of stairs (800+). Luckily, if you don’t want to climb all those steps, you can see the beauty of the park almost immediately upon entering from the main entrance. The views are worth every step though, trust me!
