Over the weekend, Billy and I had brunch at Parc, a French restaurant in Rittenhouse Square. Parc is reminiscent of the brasseries in Paris with outdoor cafe tables lining the sidewalks and vintage decor on the inside. Although the restaurant seems to always be bustling, the service was quick and we enjoyed our meal at a leisurely pace without feeling rushed. I was also pleased to have an opportunity to wear my new brunch tank.
Assorted Oysters: The oyster menu routinely changes. These particular oysters are from Washington, Canada, and Rhode Island. I’m happy to have more seafood options besides grouper now that we live in the northeast. We have yet to find a new go-to sushi place though!
Smoked Salmon Tartine: Horseradish crème fraîche, egg, capers, red onions. This was so good and so simple. We decided that we need to recreate this at home. I usually do smoked salmon with some kind of a dill spread. Definitely switching over to horseradish for now.
French Toast: Brioche french toast, macerated strawberries, buttered almonds. Although I have a huge sweet tooth, I usually predictably go for the same meat or egg dishes for brunch. This time I decided to switch it up and was not disappointed.
