FALL AT THE ORCHARD
We finally got some crisp fall air for a few days before it got hot and muggy again. Billy and I took advantage by going to Butler’s Orchard, a popular family owned and operated farm in the area. I thought my window for sunflower fields this year had passed so I was pleasantly surprised when we pulled up to golden flowers everywhere! We picked out a couple pumpkins from the pumpkin patch to bring home and then stocked up on some fall favorites from the farm market (cider, pumpkin bread, etc.).
For this outing, I layered up with a pink tweed blazer. Tweed is a classic fall fabric and the pink color gives it a bright and feminine twist. The lining also unintentionally matched my button up, which is probably the oldest shirt in my arsenal! Additionally, like I mentioned in this post, I’ve been trying different jean silhouettes. The raw hem trend is probably the best trend that’s ever happened to me. Now all my jeans are the right length because I can cut them myself!
